Three tongs for handling prints in the processing trays — one per chemical bath.

You shouldn't use the same tong in developer and fixer. Contamination between trays is how prints fog and chemistry gets exhausted prematurely. A different colour for each bath makes it automatic — you reach for the right one without thinking about it.

The shaped shoulders stop the tongs from sliding into the tray when you rest them on the edge. The textured grip makes them easier to hold with wet hands.
