Paterson Darkroom Safelight .

You need light to work in a darkroom. You just can't have much of it, and it has to be the right colour.

The Paterson safelight puts out a dim red glow through a filtered dome that won't fog your printing paper. It's safe for all current silver-based B&W papers — Ilford Multigrade, fibre, RC, whatever you're using. Keep it at least a metre from your paper and your working area and you'll have enough light to see what you're doing without ruining your prints.

It comes with the bulb and a mains lead with an AU/NZ plug. The dome sits on a bench, hangs on a wall, or mounts to the ceiling — it's light enough to go anywhere. If you're setting up a darkroom for printing, this is one of the first things you need.
